The most common cause of sciatica pain is “Slipped Disc”. This pain is caused by irritation of the main nerve into the leg. The pain likely appears in the age of 30-50 years. Another reason is the effects of general wear and tear. Further symptoms includes lower back pain, pain in the buttocks or leg that is worse when sitting, burning or tingling down the leg, weakness, numbness or difficulty moving the leg or foot, a constant pain on one side of the buttocks, a shooting pain that makes it difficult to stand up.
