Prostate cancer is a malignant growth that consists of the cells from the prostate gland. The tumour usually grows slowly and remains confined to the gland for many years. During this time the tumour produces very little or no symptoms of abnormalities on physical examination. As the prostate cancer spreads, it involves the surrounding tissues. Symptoms and signs of the prostate (Malignant) are frequent urination especially at night, inability to urinate, difficult to hold urine, a weak or interrupted flow of urine, painful or burning urination, blood in the urine or semen. Painful ejaculation and frequent pain in the lower back, hips and upper thighs.
